产品介绍 | HOXB4 is a homeodomain-containing transcription factor with diverse roles in embryonic development and the regulation of adult stem cells. It promotes proliferation of hematopoietic stem cells and can both activate and repress apoptosis. Function: Sequence-specific transcription factor which is part of a developmental regulatory system that provides cells with specific positional identities on the anterior-posterior axis. Subcellular Location: Nucleus. Similarity: Belongs to the Antp homeobox family. Deformed subfamily. Contains 1 homeobox DNA-binding domain. OXB4通过激活不同的信号通路增强HSC的自我更新,同时又不影响维持正常稳态造血的调控机制。提高HOXB4的表达水平,能够极大地增强HSC的自我更新功能,但基本不影响细胞的分化、系特异性及终末细胞的形态和功能。另外,HOXB4还可增强胚胎干细胞(embryonic stem cell,ESC)的造血潜能,促进ESC向造血细胞分化。 |
